This cookies file handling policy of the LocalHub Social Network (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) is part of the User Agreement (https://local-hub.ru/user-agreement-rintech/).

The terms used in the Policy have the same meaning as in the User Agreement, unless the Policy explicitly states otherwise.

If you do not agree with us using this type of files, then you should configure your device settings accordingly and/or refrain from using the Social Network or Website (hereinafter within the framework of this document, these terms are referred to jointly as the Website).

1. Introduction

1.1. This document also contains information about cookies, about the use of cookies by the Social Network and third parties, as well as how you can refuse such files.

2. Information About Cookies

2.1. When viewing any page of the Social Network in a browser or mobile device, the User loads both the page itself and a small text file cookies. Many websites on the Internet use such files, since cookies allow for many useful things for both users and site administrators. Thanks to these files, website owners can determine whether a specific User has visited this site before.

2.2. The Social Network may send cookies files to the User's device only if the device settings allow this operation. However (to preserve the confidentiality of the User's data) the User's browser allows the Website to access only the User's own cookie files, but does not allow it to use the same cookie files left by other websites.

2.3. The information that the Website Administration receives through cookie files helps provide services to the User in the most convenient way for them, and also helps the Administration form an understanding of the User and their needs when using the Website.

2.4. Users have the right to configure their devices such that they automatically accept all cookies, or warn each time the Website tries to write its cookies to the User's hard drive, or not accept any cookie files at all. The latter option means that some personal services of the Website (Social Network) cannot be provided to Users, as well as that Users who choose such settings will not be able to have full access to all sections of the Website.

2.5. In order to learn how to configure cookie file handling, the User must use the "Help" function or another equivalent function in their browser.

2.6. If the User's browser is set to completely prohibit accepting cookie files, the User can still anonymously visit the Website until they wish to use one of the Website Services.

3. Types of Cookie Files

3.1. Some cookie files are active from the moment the User enters the Website until the end of a specific browser session. When the browser is closed, these files are automatically deleted. This type of cookie file is called "session".

3.2. Some cookie files are saved on the User's device and are not deleted between browser sessions after the browser is closed. This type of file is called "persistent". The storage period for persistent cookie files on the device varies for different cookie files. The Administration may use persistent cookie files for various purposes (determining the frequency of Website visits, determining the nature of the User's Website usage over a certain time, evaluating the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, etc.).

3.3. Cookie files may be placed on the User's device by the Website Administration. These cookie files are called "first-party". Some cookie files may be placed on the User's device by other operators. Such cookie files are called "third-party" files.

3.4. The Administration and third parties – Content owners on the Website may use cookie files to learn when the User visits the Website, how they interact with the Content placed on it (analytical cookie files). Based on cookie files, generalized and other information not related to identifying individual users may be collected and used (for example, about the operating system, browser version and URL address from which the transition to this page was made, including from an email or advertisement) – thanks to this, we can provide you with broader opportunities and analyze site visit routes. This technology makes it possible to count the number of users who visited a specific section by clicking on a link from a specific banner outside this site, through a text link or images included in the mailing. In addition, it serves as a tool for collecting generalized statistics about site usage for analytical research and helps us optimize our sites, provide advertising in accordance with your interests, as described in detail below.

3.5. Functional cookie files. Serve to recognize Users returning to the Website. Allow individually selecting Website content for the User based on their interests. If the User blocks this type of file, it may affect the performance and functionality of the Website and may restrict access to Content on the site.

3.6. Advertising cookie files. Used to show Users of the Social Network relevant advertisements. These files record information about user actions on the Internet, including about visited websites and pages, as well as data about links and advertisements that Users chose to view. One of the goals is to display on the Website the content that is most focused on the User. Another goal is to ensure the possibility of providing advertising or other information more accurately in line with the User's interests. A more detailed description of how this type of file works is given in Section 4 of this Policy.
